Our Executive Director, Sierra Visher Kroha, and our Communications and Office Coordinator, Hannah Martin, were proud to represent San Diego Social Venture Partners at the 6th Annual State of the Nonprofit Summit, hosted by the University of San Diego. At the conference, they attended sessions to learn about the status of nonprofits, potential points of growth or potential challenges, and smaller focus group sessions as well. The two paired up to attend one session in particular on how to practice equity within the nonprofit sector, learning the importance of defining and practicing equity in line with your organization's own values. Partners, including Debleena Biswas and Lisa Goodman, were also in attendance!
