DREW BUSER

Drew Buser is a Customer Experience (CX), Operational Excellence and Business Transformation leader. He has extensive global experience leading complex, multinational CX and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives in the medical device and financial services domains.

Buser is versed in defining organizational strategy, directing cross-functional teams, and has broad experience partnering with VP-level executives to foster cohesive relationships, build trust and deliver results. His certifications include Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt (LSSGB), Agile Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Product Owner and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Buser is the Senior Director of Commercial Integration for BD Biosciences. Prior to joining Becton Dickinson, he was COO of Emerging Markets Operations (LatAm & CEEMA) for Deutsche Bank.
He is a member of UC Irvine CX Advisory Board and was previously the Secretary for Veterans On Wall Street (VOWS - Deutsche Bank).

He has volunteered locally at the Armed Forces YMCA and St. James Academy. He also co-founded an employee empowerment group at his company, which now has 2,000+ members.

Buser earned a BS in Business and minor in Classical Civilization from Indiana University. He has a certification in managing teams from the University of Cambridge (UK) and a project management certification from UC San Diego.

Buser lives with his family in Encinitas. They are transplanted Midwesterners who follow Big 10 sports religiously. He enjoys concerts at the Belly Up and Shell - and is always up for karaoke and sushi on Convoy Road. He looks very forward to contributing more to our San Diego community.
