JACI SANDER
Jaci Sander is local businesswoman, philanthropist and social entrepreneur. Her analytical mind coupled with her background within both for- and non-profit sectors give her valuable insight in leading cross-function teams, developing organization systems and providing strategic oversight - all while wearing the many hats of a small business owner.
In her current role as Vice President and Partner, Sander has helped build Right Hand Events into a million dollar business.
Previously, Sander has developed and managed corporate volunteer events at Volunteer San Diego, running a service leadership program for high school students as an AmeriCorps member. Prior to entering the nonprofit world, Sander developed new bottle designs as a Packaging Engineer at Proctor & Gamble and interning as an Engineer at L'Oréal USA.
Sander is the Founder and Past Board Chair of HandsOn San Diego, an AmeriCorps Alumnus and a Past Board Chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network San Diego. In addition, she has volunteered in the past with with Women Give San Diego, Carnegie Mellon Admissions Council, Just in Time for Foster Youth and the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation (YAD). She is also a graduate of BoardNEXT and EMBARK San Diego.
Sander obtained her BS in mechanical engineering with a minor in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
In her spare time, you can find Sander enjoying the outdoors – traveling, hiking, camping, playing kickball and training for triathlons.
